Les Chouettes are celebrating their 3rd birthday with a brand new 5-song bilingual EP Letter Lettre! It'll soon be available to pre-order but in the meantime mark your calendars for September 15th! We'll be hosting a virtual Listening Party on our bandcamp site day of and a few secret in-person events TBA soon. The title track initially was a Chanson-O-Gramme thank you song that Krista wrote for her favourite prof from her 1990's McGill days - Will Straw - who has written her several reference letters over the years. This latest one helped open the door for her to pursue an MA in Cultural Studies this fall. The power of letter writing is great so grab your pen and paper and send someone a letter - a crush, a friend, your municipal commissioner about that pothole that nearly sent you flying off your bike last week. It's amazing what a pen, paper and a stamp can do!
